  • How do I sponsor a flag?
    Flags are available for purchase for $25 per flag per honoree. You may honor someone who is living or deceased; someone who is a veteran or is currently serving. You may only list one honoree per flag.

Here’s how to sponsor a flag:

Pick up a form at the Airborne and Special Operations Museum, 100 Bragg Boulevard, or the Downtown Alliance office at 222 Hay Street.

 

    • When does the 2016 field go up?
      The 2016 Field of Honor will be erected on Friday, May 20th and will open on Saturday, May 21st.

 

    • What is DEDICATION DAY?
      The 2016 Field of Honor will officially open on May 21st at 11:00 am with the 2016 Field Ceremony. The Ceremony will have key military speakers, choral music, and special flag placements.  The Ceremony is open to the public and all are welcome to come help us honor those who have served.

 

    • How do I find my flag in the field?
      All flags are located on the ASOM parade grounds. When you order your flag(s), you will receive a confirmation giving you the location of your flag. All flags have a tag identification that designates sponsor and honoree.  There will also be an information kiosk in the Field of Honor that lists all sponsors, honorees and flag locations.

 

    • When does the field come down?
      The flags fly for approximately six weeks, coming down Saturday, June 25th.
